With the first of the MTRs taking place this weekend there was little racing taking place to report on today and so its a short report. But it was great to see 34 of our runners out at parkrun and a trio tackle the London Winter 10k.
Parkrun round up
With many of us committed to marshalling duties on Sunday, most runners made a solid effort to combine their weekend training plans, adding parkrun on to their longer training runs.
Dunstable Downs Parkrun
Dunstable Downs appeared to be the place to be this Saturday A fantastic turnout saw 18 out of 76 runners at Dunstable, come from GVH, with at least half of them running 10 to 15 miles just to get there! Well done to everyone involved! And an especially big shout out to Jono Marval celebrating his 100th Parkrun. Well done!!

Tom Evans finished in 5th place, Russ Jones took 6th, Teresa Reason came in 9th (and was the 2nd female finisher), and Andrew Wells finished 10th with a new PB. Following hot on their heals were Simon Morris (12th), Simon Wheeler (14th), Jono (15th) and Nick Jospeh in (19th) – completing a very impressive set of top 2o finishers.
