I am happy to award the title to Tracey Cotton. Tracey started with a bang on the 1st of the month at the Bovingdon 10k by storming home in a cracking time of 47:01, earning her first FV40 and 8th female overall. Continuing her good form on the 7th, she took part in Aylesbury parkrun earning herself a course PB of 22:13. Up until four days later that was her 5k PB for the year, however the best was yet to come. The Hatfield 5k series started on 11th September and Tracey beasted the course in a superb 22:03, a new road 5k club record, smashing the previous one she set in 2016 by 10 seconds. Not content with this level of awesomeness she ran the Welwyn autumn half on the 22nd gaining a brilliant result of 1:46:57, 9th female overall. To bring the month to a superb close she did the Brighton and Hove parkrun on the 28th, her birthday, and treated herself to a new course PB of 22:22. Well done on an outstanding month Tracey. I’m very excited to see your upcoming achievements.
