For the ladies, I’m proud to award the title to Natasha Gibbs.
Natasha has begun training for Manchester marathon and has kicked off the year with a bang!
Travelling afar to Sheffield, Natasha bagged herself a parkrun PB at Millhouses parkrun in a brilliant time of 24:01. The following week, Natasha took on the splashy challenge of Keysoe cross-country. She waded through (inflatable) shark-infested waters to bag herself the position of 5th for the team, earning us valuable points, in a superb course time of 31:10. Not content with this level of brilliance, Natasha took on the Fred Hughes 10M club league race on Sunday 19th on a very cold and frosty morning. Storming to the finish line in 1:21:41, Natasha finished 93/454 female overall, 24/86 in her category and 384/917 overall, bagging yet another PB. These achievements bode very well for Natasha’s upcoming challenge in April. Throughout January, Natasha ran an impressive 121.8 miles and she always trains with grit and vigour during club sessions. Well done, Natasha, for your fantastic achievements in January and for superb progress towards your marathon goal!
